VLC Is Back On The App Store :
VLC video player arrived on the App Store in September 2010. This application was a very good alternative to Apple video player and enabled to play videos in AVI format. Unfortunately she had to leave the App Store in 2011 for failure to comply with certain rules of the Apple online store.
Two years later, the rules have changed and the code is now open source VLC. The application can make a comeback on iOS. The interface remains the same, she just received a technical overhaul. As support for the Retina display and new video formats like MKV.
Other new features are available, it will be possible to load a video from a directly connected to the same Wi-Fi network platform. You can also download a file from a URL.
The VLC application sharing functionality with iTunes. You can play videos that are on your computer directly to your iPhone and iPad if you are connected to WiFi.
The VLC 2.0 application has been validated in the United States, the French validation should be today or the next few days.
